The Namekagon River Partnership is teaming up with the The St. Croix River Association to host our annual volunteer cleanup of the Namekagon River.

Date: April 28, 2018
Time: 8:00 am
Location: Meet at the Hayward City Beach, Hayward, WI

We will be meeting at 8am at the Hayward City Beach in Hayward, Wisconsin. We plan on cleaning up sections of the river from Seeley to Trego this year. Please feel free to bring your own drift boat or canoe.

People can participate either by walking and cleaning (for example, at the landings) or by getting into a water craft and cleaning a section of the river. Trash is accumulated at the various landings and then deposited at the park headquarters, Namekagon River Visitor Center in Trego, at the end of the day. The amount of trash collected is a telling sign that we need to do all that we can to preserve our beautiful national park.

Anyone wanting to participate has to show up dressed for the day and the rest will be covered – tools, bags, water, & snacks!

Hope to see you there!
