Greeting All – YOU ARE INVITED
On Saturday, March 16th, NRP and the Wild Rivers Chapter of Trout Unlimited are sponsoring a Fish Expo in Hayward.
The event will be at the Wesleyan Church facility located approximately 1 mile north of the Hwy 63 Hwy 27/77 stoplight on Hwy 27/77.
The Expo doors open at 11am and the event will end about 7:00pm.
NRP is using this event as an outreach to people who we hope will join the organization. We will have a table or two promoting who we are and what we do. There will also be displays and activities on fly fishing, tying flies, making lures, and all things fish. Tables by others will also be there presenting other information about the river and activities related to it.
Dave Thorson will present a Virtual Tour of the Namekagon, Jim Brakken will do some readings of Namekagon River history, and the National Park Service/ St. Croix National Scenic Riverway will be there to share their messages and programs to those in attendance. Business, non-profits, river-related organizations, and tours businesses will be there to show their stuff.
At 3:00, an auction of a variety of fishing related stuff will be sold to the highest bidder. Bring your checkbook. Proceeds will benefit the local chapter of Trout Unlimited.
Pick up a Sawyer County Record this week to read about the event as told by Frank Pratt and Terrel Boetcher.
Bring the family and have some fun and learn a thing or two. There is no charge. See you there!
Please pass this on to your friends. If you would like to reserve a table for your organization, please get in touch with event organizer Frank Pratt 715-934-2411.
This will be a great venue to share what the NRP is all about – suggest becoming a member to your friends.
