Join with the Namekagon River Partnership on Saturday, April 28th for our first annual Namekagon River cleanup event.

We are celebrating National Park Week with our friends at the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway.

Our meeting place will be the Hayward Landing (Highway 27 near the DNR Ranger Station) at 9am.  A river map can be downloaded here (requires Adobe Reader):

We are looking for volunteers to help with logistics as well as the actual cleanup.  You may be able to help us by driving cleanup voluneers to and from the work sites (i.e., put-in and take-out points).  To volunteer, please call the Hayward Fly Fishing Company at (715) 634-8149.  The cleanup will focus on four Namekagon River sections:

  • Hayward Landing to Stinnett Landing (drift boat will put in at West River Landing)
  • Stinnett Landing to North Springbrook Landing
  • North Springbrook Landing to Earl Landing
  • Earl Landing to Trego Landing
